A Swindon based Software Developer is required to contribute to our success as a market leading provider of Automotive Aftermarket Solutions.

We work in conjunction with multi-national automotive corporations supplying all of their data management needs including, print catalogues, websites, online tools and electronic catalogues. 

The Role

A Software Developer is required to develop and support our future and historical core product. The Developer will be reporting to the Development manager and will be working closely within a small development team of 9 other developers of varying skill sets and experience levels while being supported by the development manager.

Comline upgrades catalogue data to v8

Working within their XChecker catalogue data management system and together with Elcome’s Data Team, Comline have recently achieved v8 status for their Autocat catalogue content. Meeting the KPIs and standards necessary for v8 approval will result in more first-time VRM matches, fewer duplications and better-described criteria and notes.

TecAlliance confirm Elcome as a Solution Partner

Following TecAlliance’s re-structure of their TecCom, TecDoc and TecRMI divisions under the one umbrella, the organisation has also set out the companies they officially co-operate with in order to offer solutions to optimise their Data Supplier’s daily activities.

XChecker readies itself to improve MAM catalogue

Elcome’s continuing drive to support high quality data on MAM’s market leading Autocat+ catalogue will bear fruit this week with the release of the first phase of XChecker’s new Autocat+ Readiness Centre (ARC).

Elcome Help Motaquip on to TecDoc

From the beginning of 2016, Motaquip’s catalogue data has been successfully incorporated into TecDoc’s on-line WEB CATALOG, publishing for the first time during February. Working closely with Elcome’s Data Team and the XChecker system to deliver the data to TecDoc enabled Motaquip to benefit from the experience and expertise that Elcome has as a market leader in data delivery. 

WAI Global join the XChecker bandwagon

After a long and detailed assessment process – including a significant meeting at AAPEX Las Vegas last November – WAI Global are moving to XChecker to manage their UK and European catalogues and data deliveries.

New Sales & Marketing Team

For 2016, Rob Clulow has been appointed to head up Elcome’s Sales & Marketing team with a brief to continue improving support to existing customers as well as gaining extra business from new clients. 

Elcome’s Las Vegas Show

Every November the main players in North America’s auto parts and tuning community congregate in Las Vegas for two of the largest and most important aftermarket events in the calendar, namely the AAPEX and SEMA shows. 2015 saw Elcome attending for the first time as we continue to spread our wings and develop our global product offering. 

Delta Auto Parts moves to XChecker

The Delta Auto Parts brand (part of Foreign Trading Solutions of London) has migrated its full product range to XChecker for catalogue data handling as stage one, with stage two being a website and eCat build. Expect to see the website live sometime in Q1 2016.

Elcome take on two Apprentices

With an eye on the future, Elcome are keen to support the apprenticeship scheme and as such we are pleased to announce the arrival of our very first apprentices, Callum Neate and Lewis Parkinson.
