Two Product Support Agents Required

Since 1999, Elcome has been a market leading provider of global Automotive data and cataloguing solutions for the vehicle replacement parts aftermarket. Today, we handle all the data management needs and produce print catalogues, websites, online tools and electronic catalogues for some of the Automotive Aftermarket’s biggest international brands.

Due to continued growth, Elcome requires two Product Support Agents to provide first line support to customers using our products.  Both positions will form of a job share, requiring the two agents to cover operational hours between 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday.  The successful candidates will work closely with the Support Co-ordinator and Development department to ensure customers issues are dealt with effectively and efficiently within our agreed SLA’s.

Responsibilities and Duties will include:

• Providing support to customers and customer-facing teams within the company; answering support queries via phone or email
• Resolving and investigating simpler issues within our range of products, (using knowledge that will be developed over time whilst in the role)
• Escalating more technical issues to the relevant teams via our helpdesk system
•  Supporting customers in the use of our products by providing necessary training and advice
• Reporting system bugs
• Reporting support queries to our helpdesk system and tracking them through to their resolution within company SLA agreements

The Candidate

• Enthusiasm and a willingness to learn
• Effective communication skills
• Experience of working within a customer facing environment
• Exposure to Microsoft office products (outlook, excel, access) desirable but not essential
Knowledge of our products/company would be an advantage but not essential
Hourly Rate: £7.90 per hour
