We're increasing the security and stability of our hosting environment

Important Notice for Customers

To maintain the security and stability of all Elcome services, customer websites and eCats, it is necessary to periodically install Microsoft Windows Updates to our servers.

Currently we update our servers at different times, which results in an interruption of service for each. However, we feel it is more beneficial to streamline this process by implementing a regular set time for server updates, thus providing customers with advance notice so they can anticipate when downtime is due to take place.

Therefore, beginning Sunday May 13th 2018 and ongoing from this date every second Sunday in the month, a regular downtime interval of  approximately 1 hour between 6.00 & 7.00am UTC will occur.

This will also be in addition to any critical security updates, which we always aim to process within 24hrs of release, at 2.00am UTC.

We have purposely selected these times to cause minimum impact and disruption and we will send a regular monthly notice in advance as a reminder. Of course if you have any concerns or queries please do email support@elcome.ltd.uk or call +44 (0) 1793 846145.
